Last Night

I had my second official gig. It was at a country club in Costa Mesa. Such a difference from what I will refer to as June 28th. The wedding in June was quite possibly the most expensive wedding I've ever attended- we're talking in the 80 G's range- GORGEOUS from start to finish- 4 locations: The Biltmore Hotel in downtown LA directly across the street from Pershing Square... The ceremony commenced at St. Brendan's church- beautiful- gothic/Irish cathedral built in 1915. The stained glass took my breath away (twice). The post photo shoot happened at the Disney Concert Hall, with the reception held on the 5th floor of the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion.

It was a story of a Balinese woman meeting an Irishman- (Tim and Adri). After their first encounter, he searched her out- called her work- it's TRUE! If a guy really wants a girl he'll make the effort.

Yesterdays wedding was filled with energy, love, and a wealth of gratitude- the couple, Peter and Robin were grateful for the world. I loved it! Highlight: the groomsmen dancing to I Like Big Butts! It was painful restraining the laughter welling up inside me, threatening to send me into convulsions while holding the camera.

P.S.
I LOVE WEDDINGS!

3

Last Saturday marked my 3rd wedding ride along with Kelsey and David.
An and Alex were readying, tying the knot, and receptioning all in a row off Willow St. in Long Beach. Very convenient. They've spent the last 13 years of their young life practically inseparable, and are a testament of true love. Love is kind, seeketh not her own, suffers long, and is patient, radiant, and divine. Highlights: grandma on the dance floor with everyone cheering her on, cocktail hour coverage becoming comfortable, and the tip at the end of the night via the mother of the bride:)
